Red Sea Global needed a robust, scalable platform to manage 18 ongoing projects. We upgraded their infrastructure, implemented Oracle RAC clustering, and migrated Primavera P6 to a secure, cloud-based, high-availability environment.
The Opportunity
Red Sea Global, a premier real estate and tourism developer in Saudi Arabia, was managing a growing portfolio of high-value projects across various regions. However, their Primavera deployment was fragmented, lacking a unified structure, centralized visibility, and enterprise-grade performance.
They aimed to streamline operations by consolidating all 18 projects into a single enterprise Primavera P6 environment — while also upgrading the infrastructure to meet modern performance, security, and availability demands.
The Solution
We executed a complete upgrade and migration strategy, focused on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key actions included:
Consolidated all projects into Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM 23.12, bringing project data under one platform
Migrated the system to a Windows-based VMware cloud with Oracle Database 19c as the centralized backend
Deployed Oracle Real Application Clustering (RAC) to enable high availability (HA) and load balancing
Integrated the RSG Load Balancer to ensure seamless traffic distribution between primary and secondary nodes
The result was a resilient and future-ready enterprise project control system tailored for Red Sea Global’s scale.
